Junior ambassador Alex is a role model

GERRARDS Cross Lawn Tennis Association held its seventh 'Academy Awards' at their Bull Lane Academy last month.

Alex Trill was named Junior Ambassador, being an excellent role model for the club representing all junior and senior teams at competitions as well as gaining his level two coaching awards.

Lousie Barrett, Sasha Eykyn, Dan Buckeldee and Rahil Sacha-Patwa won an award for 'Best Intensity in Training'.

Male player of the year was Oli Levi, who is county U12 champion, Boodles U12 champion and competited consistently well in all tournament matches.

Imogen Scarles was female player of the year having won many events and in particular the Grade 3 Orange event in GXLTX Junior Open in August.
