Swimmer bag medals at county qualifier

MILLY Patrick bagged two more club records for Amersham Swimming Club in the recent Watford Swimming Club County Qualifier Open Meet.

The 10-year-old clocked 5:31.48 as the stormed to a gold medal in the 400m freestyle and 1:22.82 in the 100m backstroke was so fast, it disqualified her from a medal and earned her a speeding ticket – which is awarded to the top performances.

Milly also picked up speeding tickets in the 100m medley and 200m backstroke.

Amersham won 35 golds, 22 silvers and 24 bronze medals.
