Hayes and Yeading United make approach for Saints striker Strutton

HAYES and Yeading United have put in a seven-day approach to speak to Chalfont top scorer Charlie Strutton.
The Conference strugglers want the 22-year-old to spark their survival bid but Saints boss Danny Edwards will be desperate to keep hold of their prized asset.
Last month Edwards insisted Strutton would only leave for a professional club.
“We are more than happy if a professional club comes in for Charlie between now and the end of the season, and he would go with our blessing, but if not he is going nowhere,” he said.
