Rams earn first home point against league leaders

BEACONSFIELD SYCOB produced a fantastic performance to earn their first home point of the season with a 1-1 draw with leaders Hitchin Town.

The Canaries visited Holloway's Park top of the Southern League Division One Midlands and unbeaten on the road this season.

The Rams, on the other hand, had lost all six of their league matches at home, but they took the lead on 18 minutes through Atu.

Jeff Hammond equalised for Hitchin on 54 minutes but Joe Mitchell's side were able to hold on the morale boosting point.
