WITHOUT a home league win this season, the last side Beaconsfield SYCOB want to see running out at Holloway's Park is leaders Hitchin Town.
The Canaries visit south Bucks on Saturday riding high at the top of the Southern League Division One Mids and unbeaten on their travels all campaign with five wins and a draw.
Meanwhile, the Rams continue to search for their first home victory of the season having lost all six and conceding 20 goals in the process.
Joe Mitchell's side threw away the chance to earn a home win when they conceded three late goals to lose to Abingdon United in the Berks & Bucks Cup on Monday night.
The boss said: “We are just not strong enough as a squad at moment. We were missing some players who will be back for the Hitchin game.
“It is probably a good game for us as we have nothing to lose. I know we will play better on Saturday than we did on Monday night.”
Mitchell is looking to bolster his ranks ahead of an important month with the club in 18th position in the table and having five out of their next seven fixtures at home.
He said: “I was missing players midweek but that doesn't disguise the fact that if we get a few injuries then we will struggle even more. I am still hoping to bring in some new faces and have a couple of players from the Wealdstone academy coming to train with us this week so we will see how they get on.”
