Ainsworth on target in Blues reserve win

GARETH Ainsworth made a goalscoring return for Wycombe Wanderers in their reserve win at Watford last night.

The 36-year-old midfielder, suspended for the past three games, was managed 71 minutes in the game and was joined in the second string line-up by Lewis Hunt, Matt Bloomfield, Lewwis Spence and Lewis Montrose.

Ainsworth gave Blues the lead with a long-range effort on 50 minutes before Dan Fitchett completed the 2-0 win on 75 minutes.
