Ciaran wins training session with Lawrence Dallaglio
A 12-YEAR-OLD from Gerrards Cross is celebrating after winning a training session with former England star Lawrence Dallaglio after taking part in the Sacla' Rugby Festival at Beaconsfield RFC.
Ciaran James joined hundreds of fellow rugby players between 10 and 16 at the festival, and made enough of an impression to be called up for the national training session at Twickenham on June 5.
He will join more than 100 other children from all over the UK, after demonstrating his sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, respect and enjoyment at the festival at Sunday.
His coach, Richard Cooper, said: “Ciaran plays with enthusiasm and skill in every game. When you match this with his sportsmanlike behaviour, good nature and willingness to play for the team, he is the ideal player to represent our age group and club at the session.”
