Snow forces school closures

SCHOOLS across the county have shut this morning due to the heavy snowfall.

Drivers are being advised not to travel unless absolutely necessary due to the hazardous conditions.

Buckinghamshire County Council have not yet made a statement about the conditions, but are advising road users to use extra caution and to look out for weather forecasts.

Meanwhile, children across the county have been given an extra day's Christmas holiday after the last day of term was cancelled due to the treacherous conditions.
