Motorist died after falling ill while driving

A lorry driver died after being involved in a collision while ill at the wheel of his vehicle.

The motorist, who drove a red Leyland Daf flatbed, called emergency services after stopping on the hard shoulder at about 12.35pm on November 6 between junctions 16 and 15 of the M25. He later died at Wexham Park Hospital.

Police released details of the death on Thursday and appealed to speak to anyone who saw the lorry, which was loaded with metal wrapped in plastic film.
