Flood co-ordination was a washout

Open letter to Chalfont St Peter Parish Council and Chiltern District Council ON Sunday, August 31 the rain came down and Lower Road was once again flooded. Where was the civil contingency response? Nowhere to be seen. A group of local residents unilaterally closed off Lower Road from Hill Rise to School Lane, a very short stretch where the water was completely across the road and the wash from cars was entering the lower-level houses.
