State of our roads

YOU ran a campaign about the state of the roads in the area.

Following the very successful and welcome resurfacing of White Lion Road we must hope that we do not have a repeat of last year's bad weather.

If you go along the road and look at the junctions of other roads of this road you will see (Beel Close) being one, that where the new surface is there is a pothole adjoining it not filled in.

This will fill with freezing water in the winter and get under the new road surface and we will be back where we were at the begining of the year.

I can understand not filling in pot holes away from the new surface but touching the new surface leaves me wondering.
