Panto countdown at The Elgiva

Festive excitement is building as the stars of The Elgiva's pantomime prepare for showtime.

The familiar chorus of 'oh no it isn't, oh yes it is' is set to ring aloud in Chesham when Snow White and the Seven Dwarves opens on December 4.
Family fun is imminent once stars Lee Bright and Alexis Carley (pictured) take to the stage.

In the show Snow White lives in the castle with Queen Sovainia, her wicked stepmother. The wicked queen is obsessed with her own beauty as she constantly seeks reassurance from the magic mirror that she is 'the fairest in the land'.

Fearing that Snow White is more beautiful than her, the wicked queen gives orders for her henchman Ivan to kill her. Ivan has a kind heart and cannot do the deed, so tells Snow White to run away into the woods.

Along the way she discovers a new cottage and meets seven new friends - Cheeky, Dippy, Sniffly, Grumbly, Snoozy, Blusher and Pop - before she takes a bite from a poisonous apple. Will the story have a happy ending when a handsome prince comes along? Head down to The Elgiva to find out.

To catch a glimpse of the panto stars before the show visit the Victorian Evening in Chesham town centre on November 28. Snow White will help the mayor switch on the Christmas lights.

We have a ticket for a family of four to enjoy the panto. Just tell us out of what poisoned fruit does Snow White take a bite?

Send your answer, along with your name, address and a daytime telephone number to Snow White Competition, Buckinghamshire Advertiser Series, The Vale, Chalfont St Peter, Bucks, SL9 9ST or email bucksnews@trinitysouth.co.uk by November 28.

Dates subject to availability.
