Amersham Concert Club preview

On Saturday, November 29 the Amersham Music Club are presenting a piano recital given by Daniel de Borah at Dr Challoner's High School, Little Chalfont, starting at 8pm.

The recital is being organised in conjunction with the Young Concert Artists Trust who select a few artists who show exceptional talent and who have already started their performing careers.

Two years ago we had an outstanding recital by Libor Novacek who also came with the recommendation of the Young Artists Trust and so we are eagerly anticipating the recital by Daniel de Borah who is already receiving critical acclaim.

His programme will be the Rondo in G major, Op.51 by Beethoven and then the Fantasy in C, Op.17 by Schumann.

The rest of the programme is music by Chopin. The Polonaise-Fantasie, Op.61, 3 Etudes, two Nocturnes Op.62 and the ScherzoNo.4, Op.54.
