School of the week

Tilehouse Combined School, in Nightingale Way, Denham, is our school of the week. Reporter Greg Burns went along to the school for a chat with the pupils

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SUBJECT AT SCHOOL?
ALFIE FRANKLIN, seven: I like maths because we get to learn all about numbers.
MITCHELL SHINE, seven: Maths too because it makes my brain smarter.
CLAIRE DAVISION, seven: I like PE especially when we get to jump off the benches and things like that.
CHARLOTTE REGAN, seven: I like PE too because I get to do lots of different stuff.
SIDNEY BRIGGS, seven: PE is great fun because I get to run around a lot.
SARAH-JANE HOLLOWAY, seven: I like all the subjects really I do not have a favourite.

IF YOU COULD ANYWHERE ON A SCHOOL TRIP WHERE WOULD YOU GO?
ALFIE: I would go to the zoo and see the giraffes because I really like their long necks.
MITCHELL: Australia so I could ride a kangaroo.
CLAIRE: I think I would go to the zoo so I could see lots of animals and maybe feed some.
CHARLOTTE: Legoland because I have been there before and it was great fun and I really enjoyed going on the rides there.
SIDNEY: I would go to the Discovery Centre because they have lots of cool things there.
SARAH: I would go to any country as long as it is hot.

IF YOU WERE GIVEN £100 TO SPEND WHAT WOULD YOU SPEND IT ON?
ALFIE: Lots of toys especially Action Men because they are my favourite.
MITCHELL: I would buy a really big limousine. A red one.
CLAIRE: Maybe a dolls pram and a doll to go into it.
CHARLOTTE: I would buy a lap top so I could play on it.
SIDNEY: A Nintendo Wii because they look fun. I might get one for Christmas because I do not have enough money to buy one.
SARAH: I think I would give it to a charity.

IF YOU WERE A SUPERHERO WHAT WOULD YOUR SPECIAL POWER BE?
ALFIE: My power would be that I could fly. If I could fly I would go to Africa.
MITCHELL: I would be able to run really fast so I could run all around the world.
CLAIRE: I would want to have the power to rescue people.
CHARLOTTE: I would want to fly all around the world.
SIDNEY: Ice powers so I could freeze everything.
SARAH: My special power would be that I could protect animals.

IF YOU COULD MEET ANY FAMOUS PERSON WHO WOULD IT BE?
ALFIE: Probably a famous news reporter. (Greg: Like me?) Yes.
MITCHELL: David Beckham because he is my favourite footballer.
CLAIRE: I would want to meet Hilary Duff because I like the way she looks and the songs she sings.
CHARLOTTE: I would meet Busted because I really like their music.
SIDNEY: I want to meet Harry Potter because I love the films and he could teach me some magic spells.
SARAH: Probably Kylie Minogue because she is pretty and I like her music.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GROW UP?
ALFIE: I am not to sure maybe a vet.
MITCHELL: I want to be either a footballer or a rugby player. My favourite rugby team is England and my favourite football team is West Ham because my dad and brother support them.
CLAIRE: I want to be a vet because I like animals a lot.
CHARLOTTE: When I grow up I want to be a story writer.
SIDNEY: I want to be an artist. I don't really mind what art I do really.
SARAH: I want to be a writer because I really like writing books and stories.
