Being blind since birth has never stopped Andrew Stewart leading an independent and sociable life in Chesham - one he hopes can improve if he is given a guide dog this year.
Over the past three years Andrew, 23, has become increasingly independent - moving into a supported flat in Alexander Street, Chesham and enjoying a healthy social life within the town.

TUBE services from Amersham and Chesham to central London face major overhaul under plans to be announced next month.
Half of off-peak journeys from Amersham are set to be scrapped and a direct service will replace the current shuttle system at Chesham, under Transport for London proposals.
Four Metropolitan line tube services currently run from Amersham during an off-peak hour, which would be reduced to two under the plans.

Headteacher Maureen Edwards bid farewell to her children at the end of the Christmas term.
Mrs Edwards, 64, received messages of good luck and gifts from her pupils at Little Spring School, on her last day before retirement on December 19.
CHRISTMAS day was an ultra-joyous occasion for the Barrett family of Beechcroft Road in Chesham.
For the family received the best possible gift with the birth of a daughter, Emily Laura, who was born at the family home at 6.24am on the big day, weighing in at a healthy 6lb 4oz.
Mother Sarah Barrett, 32, and her husband Maik, 34, a purchasing administrator, were delighted with the new addition to the family.

Homeowners in Franchise Street and the surrounding area, Chesham, received a letter from the Post Office informing them of a theft from a 'mail pouch drop' nearby.
Mary Hyland, a retired postal and telegraph officer of Franchise Street, said: "We are still receiving our cards and I knew nothing about it until I had the letter.
