Motorway still congested

Posted by Sean O'Hare on November 29, 2007 12:39 PM |

LANES one and two are still closed southbound on the M40 Junction 2 and M25 interchange following a seven vehicle pile up involving an articulated lorry.
A woman has been airlifted to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, East London, suffering from serious head injuries. Several others are being treated for minor injuries.
Southbound tailbacks are up to one and a half miles long and are expected to remain that way until the recovery vehicles arrive to remove the debris.
