TESTAMENT to the village's community and charity spirit, shops and businesses in Chalfont St Peter took part in a window dressing competition to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care.
Organised by the Chalfont St Peter Chamber of Commerce as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month, more than 20 windows were adorned with pink decoration - pink being the charity's colour.
Director of local charity William's Fund, Anna Horrocks, judged the event on Friday, October 19, and presented the winning bottle of champagne to Barringtons estate agents for what she considered the most spectacular.

Montage and Bucks Leather came second and third respectively for their "stylish and original efforts", while Goujons deli took the second runners-up spot thanks to owner Jon (correct) Shilling donning a pink apron.
Chalfont St Peter Chamber of Commerce president Liz Royal said: "This is a fun event but with a serious aim of raising monies for a very worthwhile charity."
