A WOMAN had to be cut from her car after a five car smash on the M40 in which eight people were injured.
The crash happened shortly before noon on Monday on the northbound section of the motorway between junctions three at Loudwater and four at Handy Cross.
Four men and three women managed to get out of their cars before the fire brigade arrived and all of them were said to be injured.
Firemen then had to cut the other woman from her vehicle, before making the scene safe.
