Beaconsfield SYCOB rode their luck on Monday Evening but held on only just, to claim all 3 points.
SYCOB were put under early pressure and Lee Taylor had a good opportunity but goalkeeper Nick Hart saved.
After two minutes a Stuart Swift defence splitting pass was to see Anthony Wright race away round keeper Steve Duce to open the scoring. Luke Lloyd for Jets brought the best out of keeper Hart then a screamer of a shot cannoned of the bar.
Five minutes into the second halfBea Michael Currie was brought down in the box by Ian Bywater for a penalty, Stuart Swift (1) Fred Home (2-0)
Ian Bywater pulled a goal back with 10 minutes remaining and Oxhey were awarded a penalty in the 88 min for handball. Goalkeeper Nick Hart made a great save and Lee Kersey reacted quickest to clear the ball off the goaline.
