Fatal collision Beaconsfield

There was a fatal collision on the A40, Beaconsfield Old Town, towards Holtspur on Monday, July 30.
At about 8.50pm, a large silver saloon Mercedes left the road on the nearside and collided with a tree.
Emergency services attended the scene and closed the road for approximately four and a half hours whilst accident investigators examined the scene.
The 43-year-old victim from Cookham has yet to be formally identified. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
PC Robert Mellor, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle travelling from Beaconsfield Old Town heading towards Holtspur before the crash."
