At about 5.30pm on Tuesday, August 7 a 39-year-old man from Hayes was driving towards Iver Lane in a silver Toyota Celica when his car collided with a 34-year-old man on his mountain bike.
The cyclist sustained serious head injuries and was taken to The National Hospital for Neurology in London where his condition is described as serious but stable.
