A FULMER pub has been scooped a top award for its colourful horticultural displays as part of an annual flower show.
The Black Horse on Windmill Road, beat pubs in Stoke Poges and Wexham to win the JT Ireland Cup for the area's most colourful pub.
Making the award to owners Brendan and Kay Keane, Jon Homan, president of the Stoke Poges, Wexham and Fulmer Horticultural Society said: "This is a magnificent display bursting with colour and in a class all of its own. It immediately catches the eye and raises the spirits of all who pass."

The other pubs judged were the Rose and Crown, The Stag, The Six Bells, The Fox and Pheasant, The Dog and Pot, The Red Lion and Stoke Place.
Brendan Keane said: "We've won seven in a row now which is very pleasing.
"We've just had a woman in from Canada who was very impressed with the display and was disappointed we didn't sell post cards because she wanted to show her friends at home pictures of the pub."
The award was made as part of the society's annual flower show, before the main event which is being held on Saturday, July 28 at the Teikyo School.
The 114th show will feature plenty for all the family, including face painting, games, sideshows and an extensive classic car display in addition to the amazing displays of plants and flowers.
Entry is £2 for adults, £1.30 concessions and 50p children. Parking is free, but no dogs allowed.
