Chalfont St Peter 0
Holmer Green 0

Holmer went into this match on Saturday knowing that one point would prevent them finishing in bottom place regardless of any result elsewhere.
In the event, on a hot sunny day, they were relieved to hold the Saints, 14 places above them, to a goalless draw on a hard bumpy pitch that made it difficult to play good football.
The result pulled Holmer up to third from bottom and ensured their Premier status for their forthcoming centenary season – but left Chalfont a rather disappointing sixth at the end of their first ever season in the South Midlands Premier.

For Holmer, Craig Henney and Danny Stone both had opportunities in the first 10 minutes but Tim Webb came closest in the first half as his header was cleared off the line following a corner.
At the other end, Terrell Lewis headed over from a dangerous Okimo free kick.
The second half saw chances still few and far between, with conditions taking their toll on both sets of players.
Ten minutes after the break, Stone played Henney through but the ball was held up just long enough for a defender to recover. Bradley Bubb had Saints’ best chance but his shot was cleared off the line after he had beaten keeper Dave Clark.
Holmer had used their three substitutes in an effort to maintain pressure on Chalfont but then were forced to play the final 10 minutes a man short after Chris Reading went over on his ankle.
