Beaconsfield Charter Fair will be in the Old Town from late afternoon today, Thursday May 10 .
The Leukaemia Care stalls will be all day at the Council Green on Thursday, May 17 and 31 selling plants gifts, books, CDs and general items.
The 28th AGM of the Chiltern and Beaconsfield Branch of Cruse will be on Wednesday, May 23 at the Fitzwilliams Centre, Windsor End at 7.30pm. Reports and accounts will be presented and there will be an election to appoint committee members for 2007/2008. On completion of business, there will be a presentation by Anne Chalmers, Chief Executive of the Child Bereavement Trust, and light refreshments will be served.
On Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19 there will be a flag collection day in Beaconsfield Old and New Town to raise money to help furnish Abbeyfield Beaconsfield Society's Bradbury House's new activity Centre for residents and the local community
A Guided Walk in Old Beaconsfield In support of the St Mary and All Saints Church in Old Beaconsfield "Raise the Roof Campaign" takes place on Wednesday, May 30. Elizabeth Scott-Taggart, the renowned local historian, is taking grouåps for guided walks in Beaconsfield Old Town. Starting at 10am from The White Hart, Aylesbury End, Beaconsfield. The walk will finish about 11.30am. Places are limited and can be booked by phone on 01494 671671/01494 672120. The cost is £5 per person payable on the day.
