Chalfont Fair a success despite the weather

IT would take more than some treacherous weather conditions to stop the Chalfont Fair going ahead on Bank Holiday Monday, May 28.
Tents were blown away overnight and the main attraction - the Kinghts of the Crusades - had to be cancelled for health and safety reasons, but people still poured into St Joseph's School, Chalfont St Peter in true British spirit.
There were plenty of stalls, live music, morris dancing, a tug of war, food and drink and lots to keep the children happy.
See this week's Advertiser for all the pictures and a full report.
