THERE has never been a better time to join Chalfont St Peter Tennis Club. A stonking 50 per cent discount is being offered on all new adult membership subscriptions, and new coach Frazer Wilson is organising a lively programme of training sessions for all ages, including competitions for juniors.
The three floodlit tennis courts (there are four courts in all) have been resurfaced and painted, matching the facilities with the smart, modern pavilion.
This Sunday, April 29, is the club open day (10am-1pm) when all the family will be welcome to find out about the tennis and and full social programme.

All keen tennis players are also welcome to join in club play on Thursday evenings (7-9pm) or Sunday mornings (10am-noon) for a trial session.
Junior coaching starts from Monday, with club night on Friday, and there are sessions for adults and beginners/improvers. Private coaching is available by arrangement.
The club is in the centre of the village; take the turn by the ambulance station on the A413 and continue past the football club. The tennis club is at the end of the road, with parking available.
For more information contact secretary Val Smith on 01494 872467, press officer Tricia Reeve on 01494 680756 or coach Frazer Wilson on 07711 625416.
