A derelict farm building was destroyed by a blaze which kept firefighters working into the early hours of today, Tuesday.
Plumes of smoke could be seen from the nearby Bellhouse Hotel in Oxford Road, after a derelict 20 metre by 10 metre barn went up in flames.
The fire at Stampwell Farm, off Oxford Road, had to be extinguished quickly as there are several other structures nearby.
Firefighters from Gerrards Cross arrived at 5.10pm and were joined by crews from Beaconsfield and Amersham.
A crew had to dampen and tunrover the collapsed material into the early hours of the morning.
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service is treating the incident as suspected arson.
