Girls swim to victory

GERRARDS Cross schools excelled in the Bucks Schools Swimming Association Championships.
The girls from hosts Maltman’s Green won the freestyle and medley relays in both the year five and year six age groups, and added five individual wins, two second places and a third.
Thorpe House’s year five team also won three out of four individual boys’ events plus both relays, while the year six team were well placed in all events and relays.
Many of the youngsters now hope to be selected for the Bucks team.
