GARY Waddock has called on the Wycombe fans to roar their team to back-to-back wins when they face Yeovil at Adams Park on Saturday.
An away draw at Southend and priceless victory at Bristol Rovers last weekend have dragged Wanderers right back into the mix for League One safety this season.
They host the Glovers this weekend looking to avenge a 4-0 thumping in the west country on Boxing Day to give them two successive wins for the first time since beating Millwall and Brentford in November.
Waddock said: “The fans have been brilliant both home and away and I don't think they realise how important they can be when they get right behind the team and it can give us an extra lift and give us an extra man.
“They have been great to us and have never turned on anyone at the club despite some tough times this season. If we can get the ground filled for the rest of our home games then we can create a really great atmosphere and make it a difficult place to come.”
While Blues have been on a resurgent run, moving to within five points of safety, Yeovil have only managed one win on the road all season and one win in five league games has seen Terry Skiverton's side slip towards the trapdoor.
But Waddock knows how difficult it is to record back-to-back wins in this league and know his side have a hard afternoon's work on their hands.
“It is easier said than done,” he said. “We have to go out and earn it and perform well. It will be a tough game but if we step up like we have done in recent weeks then I am sure we can get a good result.”
